HOW DOES THE PROCEDURE WORK?
Fillers are injected under the skin at a variable depth depending on the type of filler used, to add volume, correct deficiencies and wrinkles or add hydration. There are several products available with varying consistencies and methods of injection to achieve best and most natural look. The effect of filler’s can be seen almost immediately with the final result seen between 2 – 4 weeks, and can last up to 12 months depending on the type of fillers used.

WHAT CAN THE PATIENT EXPECT AFTER THE PROCEDURE?
Minimal swelling and possible bruising at the injection site is common and slightly increased when lips are injected. This generally subsides within two days to seven days. Bruising can occur after the injection, but usually resolves within seven days. It can take up to two to four weeks for the swelling and bruising to completely subside and the final result to be revealed.
