    FAQ

    Most frequent questions and answers
    HOW DOES THE PROCEDURE WORK?
Primelase HR is one of the fastest, safest & most powerful laser hair removal systems on the market, designed for established, high volume clinics to maximise profitability. Offering a combination between SSL (Solid State Laser) and diode LASER, a large spot size, dual work modes & four wavelengths, Primelase HR provides the quickest & safest laser hair removal treatments. The duration depends on the size of the area to be treated. The LASER application in an upper lip may take up to 5 seconds, in underarms 15 seconds and in legs 6 minutes.Hairs treated by Primelase HR should not grow back, however we can only treat hairs in the growing stage i.e. visible on the skin surface. So multiple treatments are required to treat the maximum number of hairs in the skin, as the hairs progress from the dormant phase to the growing phase.
HOW MANY TREATMENTS WILL I NEED?

LASER hair removal requires multiple treatment sessions as we can only remove hair in the growth phase known as anagen. The number of sessions depends on the area to be treated, the thickness and color of the hair, skin type and the specific needs of each patient.

WHAT CAN THE PATIENT EXPECT AFTER THE PROCEDURE?
It is practically painless and it is tolerable for the patient, although some patients may feel some discomfort and heat, inherent to the LASER, or cold from the device’s cooled tip. The risks are minimal, and most of them are reversible. The most common reactions include redness, residual erythema, and perifollicular edema.
