Dermastamp is treatment using very fine needles. It is a medical device used in micro needling to break down old scar tissue & to stimulate skin cells to proliferate. This cell multiplication results in the formation of new tissue layers of elastin and collagen fibres (neo-collagenesis) as well as in new capillaries for an improved blood supply (neo-angiogenesis). The procedures are called Scar Reduction Therapy (SRT) & Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT).
Dermastamp uses very fine needles to promote tissue stimulation, once old scars are broken, new collagen will help soften out topical visible scars. The Dermastamp is unlike any heat based technology as there is no skin burning and skin coagulation. The side effects are dramatically reduced and the risk, almost zero.
The skin is cleaned and sterilized. Generally the skin will need to be numbed to ensure your comfort. Therefore the treatment is considered painless. The tip will glide over your skin creating stimulating channels and an even flushing is the best indication for a perfect medical treatment. The treatment usually takes around ½hours in total.
The inflammatory reaction of the skin is extremely short and fades significantly within hours from redness to pinkish that may last from 12 to 48 hours on average.
